For Our Friends

This page is dedicated to all the great people we have had the honor to meet as part of this project. Random, new acquaintances are a delightful perk of this adventure. We hope that our paths shall cross again very soon.

To: Del at the Terry Ranch B&B in Arizona...
Betcha didn't know you were the impetus for this whole project!?? Well, ok- we DID have to come up with our own romance! However, you are the reason we fell in love with the idea of always staying at a bed and breakfast. You are the consummate host and inn-keeper and we look forward to visiting you at your new location!
John & Ruth, Long Island, NY:
Best of luck to your daughter and her exciting career! We promise to let you know when we're in Manhattan so that we can hit the ballroom together!

Bill & Ellen, London:
Thanks for the painfully funny breakdown of "real" B&Bs in London!

Carroll, TN:
Well guess what? You now have us searching for heart rocks! ...And you were right, the Smoky Mountains are the most visited of the national parks. We could have sworn it was Yosemite or maybe even the Grand Canyon.

Keith, The Rickshaw Guy:
Thanks for the lift to Rockefeller Center!

Kate, (Orignally from Vermont):

You're a life-saver!  (re: opening your gelato shop 15 minutes earlier)

Tom, Anniston AL:

How’s this for the ultimate compliment? We thought talking with you was so much better than watching the History Channel (and was more informative)! We would love to see the "brick" in your house one day.

Shane, From All Over:
You can sell dessert to a used car salesman.  We enjoyed consuming all of your recommendations.

Will, Barnard VT:
The Chowdah from Cappy's was all the more delicious because of your kind gesture.  We hope you had a wonderful time on your cruise and that you had a safe journey back home.  Next one is on us!

Annelise, Salt Lake City UT:
Thank you for the friendly service.  Best of luck on your Master's Program!  Kuiper says, "hi".
Frank & Ann, Northridge, CA:
Sorry we missed your son, but look forward to seeing his work on the silver screen! Thanks for the Half-Moon Bay tip. BTW, we found the Emperor.

Dave & Sarah, NJ:

Happy Anniversary and good luck with the house hunting!

Rich, From the GAP Store on 48th & 2nd in Manhattan:

Thank you for taking the time to give us directions in the middle of the bustling holiday season.  Spicy Hot Chocolate...who woulda thunk it?

Josh, Bend OR:
You'll always be our favorite musher.  Thanks for the ride!

John & Jo, Ocala FL:

Thank you for the entertaining breakfast conversation; that’s the most we’ve laughed at breakfast during any of our visits!

Ryan & Jenny, El Paso TX:
Go High!  So glad we got to share our Rio Grande rafting experience with you.

Abbie, Camden ME:
When you go on your first international adventure, e-mail us a picture but don't tell us where you are...we'll try and guess the country.

Chris, Kansas City KS:
Let us know if you pursue your MOMMA book.  We'll be the first in line to buy it!
